Are we are living in an extremely bad B-class movie ? Michael Polák ( ) Přečteno 186063x, 23 komentářů, rubrika: (en) Archive Guernica, Coventry, London, Dresden, Berlin, Hiroshima, Nagasaki ..... New York 2001 ? Please stop that... it is like bad dream. Attack on WTC in New York in definitely one of the most cruel attacks on civilian target in history, and I am absolutely shocked by that. The topic is covered by many websites like cnn.com or BBC news, and discussed deeply on sites like slashdot.org, so please let me express only one wish:
I hope that American people will consider this to be mass murder, and that they are going to try to find murderer first, before starting any revenge. This is work for police, rather then for army. I understand that Americans may feel like being in war, but the problem is that in war, you need some clearly recognized enemy to be destroyed. I feel like this story is about finding murderers and those who helped them - not about finding enemies and declaring war to their nations...
I hope American citizens will choose to defend life - not just symbols. Other countries, in Europe and Asia, lost their national symbols many, many times in history. The real crime was killing people who were inside symbols. Those who commited that crime valued symbols higher than people's lives, and that's absolutely insane idea. I just hope that America won't follow the example of murderers, and won't start World World III.
I believe that all inhabitants of all cities of the world, who have ever experienced air strikes, feel sympathy for innocent victims of air strikes in New York and Washington.
