New release of Prometheus QoS tool allows fine tuning of configured trafic clases - eg. definition of symetrical and asymetrical traffic clases in the same configruation file.

Prometheus QoS version 0.7 was tested on gateway (router) from local network to Internet using PC-based hardware running Linux operating system, shaping traffic of up to 10000 packets per second, rushing from and to eg. 2000 individual IP addresses (allocated from many various subnets), with some of the IP addresses sharing the traffic class with other IP addresses, from different subnets.

New release allows definition of multiple keywords used to categorize individual ip addresses in configuration file into various traffic classes. Unlike previous versions, symmetrical and asymmetrical virtual lines as well as classes with data limits and without data limits can be configured in same configuration file and managed by the same installed copy of Prometheus.

    Phrometheus is 5star job. I am curently working on shaper that is using mysql as input data. And need help only fidth iptables hash.

    Why do U use on examp. eth0 POSTROUNTING and on eth1 FORWARD, is there performance issue ... or ?
